"Nutchatch 2" by Martin Cosgrove (20)

October 22 was not just our first competition evening of the session, but also our first using Zoom. It was a great success, due, in large part, to our judge for the evening Louise Langley from Nottingham. The meeting started by congratulating Louise on getting married (she was booked as Louise Walton) which is a major achievement  in these times of Covid!

The J F Mather trophy for best set of three pictorial images was won by Martin Cosgrove with :-

"Fair of Face"                                                          "Full of Grace"                                            "Full of Woe"

Graeme Mitchell came second. His set included

"Temple by the Lake" which scored 20.

Peter Sykes was third.

In the Norfolk trophy for best Nature image, Martin triumphed again with his "Nuthatch 2", scoring 20. See header image.

Graeme Mitchell was both second and Third with "Kookaburra" and "Fallow Deer Grazing".

In the Tom Scatchard Memorial Trophy for best set of three Record images, Graeme Mitchell won with:-

"Engine Driving Wheel"                                    "Steam Engine Propulsion Detail"                                             "Harley Davidson Engine Detail"

Peter Sykes came second with Sandra Cockayne and Tom Heggie equal third.

With helpful comments and an appreciation of the work submitted, Louise gave us a fine introduction to virtual club competitions.
